THE ROLE OF THE ARTIST IN THE DARK TIMES
|
Lecture with video excerpts by
director Dijana Milosevic where she addresses the very poignant
questions:
"What is the role of the theatre when people are suffering
around us? What are our responsibilities as artists and as
human beings in the situation of war? What kind of art has the
power to create positive changes in society?"
Through a lecture with video excerpts Dijana speaks about these issues and
shows examples of art, theatre and actions that are the result
of the work of her theatre company and of her own personal contemplation. |

INNER MANDALA
Lecture/performance
by actress Maja Mitic
Using a montage of texts from DAH Theater's performances
since 1991, the actress has created material which speaks about
the healing power of the theatre.
INNER MANDALA was born as a performance/lecture, with the focus
on the questions from the performance "Maps of Forbidden Remembrance": "How long a vigil does historical
violence impose on us? How far can or should my personal responsibility
extend for injustices I did not commit?"
