The performance "Nastasijević Code" will be about the famous Serbian family Nastasijević and the spiritual heritage they have left to our culture.
The background of the performance will be artistic and political context between two wars. The idea is to guide the audience through the partially factographic world, based on biographic facts from the life of this interesting family, that intertwines with motives from Momčilo Nastasijević's literary and drama work.
The characters from his short stories will encounter its writer; his brother's music will be heard, Nastasijević sisters will reveal their secrets and moments from the imaginary and real world, that surrounded them in form of traditional "evenings" or soirée.
The performance will throw light on the artistic and cultural milieu of that time in our country, also projecting one powerfull artistic vision, which exceeds our present time.
The consequences of development, "hibernation", and birth of our civil class are important questions that this performance is dealing with.
Premiere: April, 7th, 8th and 9th at 8pm
