DAH THEATRE RESEARH CENTRE (DTRC) uses pedagogical
tools in trying to educate future artists and give them a solid
foundation for their future studies in the contemporary theatre.
The work with the young people is a regular program of the DTRC,
and takes place in the afternoon and evening hours during the
school year. Every group has 8-16 classes a month, and the results
of the work are presented in the final performances.
DANCE AND DRAMA STUDIO FOR CHILDREN:
with its focus on 4-14 year old children, the Studio offers
training in dance, creative movement and acting. The
pedagogue of the studio is Sanja Krsmanovic Tasic.
THE YOUTH GROUP is made up of young people from 15-24 years of age who want
to experience the techniques and methods of contemporary theatre,
exploring themes that interest the young. This program is especially
created for young people interested in working professionally in
theatre but also for those wanting to express themselves through
the language of contemporary theatre. Actresses Maja Mitic and Sanja Krsmanovic Tasic lead the group.
PLAY AGAINST VIOLENCE
From 1999 until 2003, DAH Theatre was involved in the project
"Play Against Violence/Igrom protiv nasilja" of the
European Cultural Foundation, with its Youth Drama Group. This
project was part of a wider program Art For Social Change.
The results of this project were presented as performances in the
festivalsDOORSTEPS (2003) and CROSS-DISSOLVE (2003), organised by the Association of
Independent Theatres (ANET) from Belgrade, whose members were also part of this
project.
